2023 SUMMER EVENTS

Spring into Summer: May 21st. Downtown Bath’s kickoff to Maine’s Beautiful Warmer Weather! Sales, Scavenger Hunts, Music Performances and Family Activities at various locations downtown.

Bath’s Summer Concert Series: Three days a week throughout the summer, you can find free music! Performances from acapella groups, musicians, funk, rock, soul, classical and even our local steel drum band! Every Saturday all summer long, come sit at the Kennebec River’s edge and watch the stage come alive at 5pm. Every Tuesday, jive to the Bath Swing Band up at Library Park and then again Every Friday the Library Gazebo hosts a huge variety of local and professional performers.

Heritage Days: July 1-4. Bath’s biggest celebration of the year, circling around Independence Day. Free concerts, Art in the Park, Kids Day, Antique Car Show, Maine’s Largest Parade, Smokey’s Greater Shows Carnival and Fireworks!

Movies in the Park: Bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in at Library Park for an evening showing. Typically Monday nights throughout the summer. Click the link for more information.

Chocolate Church Performing Arts: Music and theatre performed in a Gothic styled church built in 1847.

Maine State Music Theatre: 4 MainStage Productions each summer, plus children’s theatre. Performed at Bowdoin College’s Pickard Theater.
